Disrupting The Curriculum
We've all probably heard these words at some point or another..
"Nature doesn't meet the Australian Curriculum" OR "You can't learn to read or write from nature"
In today's podcast episode, we will be speaking with Joanna Griffith, the Principal of Kwoorabup Nature School in Western Australia. Joanna shares why nature DOES actually fit the curriculum and how the children in their small town are reaping the benefits of playing with whittling knives, bush walking and learning in collaboration.
